About Us
Our mission in creating The Calm Club is to bring inclusive, interactive and impactful yoga into ALL children's lives. We work with teachers, schools and families in the South West of England, offering yoga clubs, bespoke teacher training and family yoga workshops.
We have our own hand-written yoga and mindfulness curriculum, which is curated to be inclusive, child-centred and interactive so that ALL children can benefit from it.
We believe yoga is for everyone, and envision a future where children from all walks of life are emotionally intelligent, and able to emotionally regulate using the tools that they have learned with us and through yoga.

The wonderful practice of yoga came into my life in 2010, and since then it has helped me in so many ways.
In 2015 I became a classroom teacher, yoga, breath and meditation helped me to serve my students better. From being directly in the classroom, I understand the challenges schools, teachers and students face, and have seen first hand how impactful yoga can be in schools and within families.
I took my first 200-hour YTT in 2017 and I founded The Calm Club in 2022 to bring yoga into more children's lives, and spread the gift of mindfulness to combat rising mental health issues. We are now training the next generation of Children's Yoga Teachers to widen our impact, aiming to reach as many children as possible.
I truly believe that yoga and mindfulness are calming, peaceful tools for children that will serve them throughout their lives.

I started the Shift Movement after discovering at 12 years old how meditation could change my life, after committing to daily practice at a low point in my life. And my goodness it was worth it!
Inspired, I became the youngest yoga instructor in the UK in 2015. I completed an additional 300 hours of training in trauma yoga, prison yoga, yoga for young people and yoga in healthcare.
Since then I have trained hundreds of teachers in Gloucestershire to teach yoga in their schools, run Yoga conferences funded by Active Gloucestershire and in collaboration with Tash, and helped expand The Calm Club Camps.
It is amazing to me that with my commitment of one small change every day – I have changed my whole lifestyle, how I feel about myself, and how I interact with others. Now I enjoy witnessing others who are part of the Shift Movement make positive transformations in their lives.

Whether sharing yoga with adults or children, my approach is rooted in connection and compassion, empowering the individual to explore what feels right for them, in the moment.
I have been teaching children's yoga for over 6 years. My intention is always to see the whole child—fostering a space where they feel seen and supported, rather than corrected, and can learn useful self-regulation and mindfulness tools for physical and mental wellbeing.
Alongside my work with children, I am passionate about helping women, and mothers, to reconnect to and nurture our powerful inner-resources of intuition.
I am excited to be working with The Calm Club to share The Children’s Yoga & Mindfulness Teacher Training and help expand this important work to equip future generations with self-kindness, awareness, and emotional intelligence skills for life.
